    Job description

    Software Engineer

    Atlanta, Georgia, United States

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century's most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril's family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

    About The Team

We are looking for a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer to join the ArsenalOS team. As a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer on ArsenalOS you will be architecting and implementing mission-critical solutions that enforce lean business process, add multiplicative leverage to Anduril employees, and scale Anduril into a next-generation defense prime.

    About The Job

As a member of ArsenalOS you will be an integral part of building out Forge, Anduril's custom supply chain, manufacturing, and deployment mission execution software. We spend time on the factory floor, then provide solutions for the issues the factory faces.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing custom software solutions that optimize production processes, analyze manufacturing data, and drive industry-changing improvements. They should be proficient in programming languages relevant to web development and industrial applications, have experience with data analytics and visualization, and understand the principles of modern manufacturing. The ability to translate complex manufacturing challenges into elegant software solutions is crucial, as is a passion for pushing the boundaries of what's possible in industrial technology. This role requires a mix of technical prowess, creative problem-solving, and the vision to see how software can reshape manufacturing practices across the industry.

    What You'll Do
    • Own and deliver features for Forge, Anduril's production platform.
    • Level up our team's applications through quality code contribution and writing tests.
    • Leverage frontier AI tooling for development, and contribute to our local Forge harness.
    • Partner with the factory floor to enable high rate build of Roadrunner, Fury, and other Anduril products.
    • Join an on-call rotation for Forge support of the production floor.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with systems architecture, software product and design, factory systems, and production digital tools.
    Required Qualifications
    • 5+ years of experience in a software engineering role building products, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
    • Have an area of deep expertise in one or more portions of full stack web development (i.e. backend, frontend, integration).
    • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or related technical degree.
    • Experience working with large enterprise applications and platforms with high availability requirements.
    • Proficiency with web-based technologies such as Javascript, React, Typescript, and web frameworks such as React or NextJS.
    • U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience in hyper growth startup-like environments, with demonstrated successes in scaling and maturing software development processes, team culture and methods, and ability to balance short-term and long-term trade offs.
    • Understanding of three letter acronyms such as ERP, MES, WMS, CRM, etc.
    • Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret Security clearance.
    • Experience in manufacturing industries with hands on experience on assembly lines.
