Job Description

Title: Systems Software Programmer

Location: COLUMBIA, South Carolina

Duration: 12 months

Required Skills (Rank in Order Of Importance):
The successful candidate will have, at minimum, the following skills:

Experience and expertise in software installation and implementation.

Experience in configuration management.

Experience and expertise in hardware and software testing; familiarity with testing methodologies and preparation of test plans.

Experience and expertise to troubleshoot application and windows servers.

Experience and expertise in isolation and diagnosis of hardware and software defects, including use of diagnostic tools such as monitors and traces.

Proficiency in Java environments under Windows.

Expert knowledge of databases and relational database concepts. Experience with SQL Server 2014/2016 required.

Experience with Windows 7/8/10 operating systems and the Windows 2008/2012 server environments.

Experience with Data Warehouse concepts, including techniques for handling very large databases.

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with business users, management, vendors, and peers.

Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills. Ability to complete assignments on time.

Understanding of deployment methodology concepts including design, build, testing, and deployment.

Preferred Skills (Rank In Order Of Importance):

Experienced with requirements / environments of PCI, PUB1075, NIST.

Experience with regulatory compliance management for a Data Warehouse environment.

Experience with Wildfly a plus.

Expertise with source code management - Microsoft Team Foundation Server.
