Job description

Work with team of mid- to senior-level software engineers on coordinating database development. Assess database performance and ensure that programs continue to operate normally through software maintenance and testing. She will apply engineering principles to design and develop new software applications and solutions. Provide application development, enhancements, modifications, performance tuning, and support services for assigned projects. Enhance and support the performance of existing in-house developed applications. Work with Solutions Analysts, Solutions Engineers, and end users to help identify requirements. Determine, design, and develop specifications. Identify core functionality required. Analyze software requirements and determine viability of design. Architect, design, and present solutions to business problems. Resolve information technology issues. Develop testing routines to improve database performance. Monitor software performance to ensure the system operates in conformance with specifications.
Job Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, IT, CIS, MIS, Information Science or a closely related degree field.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years of experience as Software Engineer or Software Developer.
ALTERNATE EDUCATION: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, IT, CIS, MIS, Information Science or a closely related degree field.
ALTERNATE EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of experience as Software Engineer or Software Developer.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: The required experience must have included the use of SQL, Typescript and React/Redux.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: Up to 20% domestic travel required to other EOG U.S. locations for applications development and support meetings.
Position will be filled at level commensurate with experience
