Job description

Our firm is seeking a tax manager with 5+ years of experience in public accounting.

The Tax Manager has a strong ability to maintain solid client relationships, to effectively supervise staff, to demonstrate a strong commitment to the Firm, and to perform work on all levels of a tax engagement with little supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and prepare corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns (1120, 1120s, 1065, 1041).
  • Recognize complex technical issues, evaluate facts efficiently and use strategic decision-making skills to improve processes by developing and implementing best practices.
  • Manage planning and engagement activity and follow through to achieve results.
  • Timely deliver a diversified range of accounting and tax services in compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate accounting staff and assess their performance, technical skills, work quality, and application of professional and firm standards and provides timely feedback.
  • Develop, motivate and train team members.

  • Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of CPA firm experience
