Job description

From nation-wide music festivals to small fundraisers, WRSTBND is a leading partner for seamless event technology.

WRSTBND was born out of a think tank of tech engineers and event producers to bridge every operational aspect of events. We have created an event technology ecosystem that connects the dots on multiple aspects of an event.

We're pioneering integrated RFID and NFC scanning hardware, edge computing, real-time mobile transactions and backend processes - each with the ability to be customized to specific event needs and goals.

The Role

Our new Sr. Implementation Manager will guide clients through technical onboarding to ensure they are prepared to successfully launch and operate events using the WRSTBND platform. This role translates event requirements into effective platform configurations, coordinates third-party integrations, leads testing and user acceptance, and trains client teams on essential workflows and best practices. By delivering optimized, thoroughly tested solutions and preparing clients for live operations, this position reduces implementation risk, improves the client experience, and contributes to successful event delivery and strong client relationships.

As a Sr. Implementation Manager for WRSTBND, you'll

  • Lead technical onboarding for new clients and events from requirements gathering through launch readiness; document workflows, ticketing configurations, access requirements, user roles, third-party systems, dependencies, ownership, timelines, and operational considerations.
  • Translate client requirements into appropriate WRSTBND platform configurations; guide clients toward best practices and identify technical risks or unusual requirements before they become event-day issues.
  • Configure, review, test, and validate events, including ticket types, credentials, access rules, devices, permissions, integrations, and event-specific settings; build and execute end-to-end and user-acceptance testing plans.
  • Own onboarding and implementation of supported third-party integrations; gather prerequisites, configure external platforms, validate data flows, mappings, permissions, authentication, and expected behavior, and troubleshoot issues across WRSTBND, client, and third-party environments.
  • Lead client training for administrators, managers, operators, and other users; teach critical platform and integrated workflows, develop implementation-specific guides and reference materials, and confirm client readiness before handoff.
  • Serve as a technical point of contact throughout implementation; coordinate clients, WRSTBND teams, and third-party providers and clearly communicate capabilities, configuration decisions, dependencies, limitations, risks, testing results, and implementation details.
  • Partner closely with Business Development, Operations, and Engineering; escalate complex or net-new integration requirements to Engineering and surface recurring configuration, integration, training, and operational issues.
  • Improve implementation scalability by developing and maintaining onboarding documentation, configuration standards, integration guides, testing procedures, training materials, templates, checklists, standardized processes, and reusable best practices.

You don't have to check all the boxes, but we think these skills are important:

  • BA/BS Degree (4-year) (Advanced Degree Preferred) related field
  • Experience with event technology, ticketing, access control, credentialing, or live-event operations
  • 4+ years' experience:
    • Configuring and troubleshooting integrations across multiple technology platforms.
    • Leading software implementations, integrations, onboarding, training, or technical deployments.
  • Experience using tools such as Postman or similar API testing tools.
  • Experience creating test plans, acceptance criteria, training programs, or technical documentation
  • Experience working directly with clients in a technical environment.
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn complex software platforms.
  • Knowledge of software implementation, system integration, client onboarding, training, and technical deployment practices.
  • Ability to work directly with clients and external technology providers in a technical environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including the ability to translate operational requirements into technical configurations and test scenarios.
  • Strong written communication, documentation, organizational, and project-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple implementations while meeting fixed timelines and maintaining a high standard of execution.
  • Ability to identify when client requests conflict with established best practices and confidently recommend effective alternatives.
  • Ability to lead client training and clearly communicate technical workflows to a variety of users.

At AXS, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role but can't "check every box" in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be the right candidate for this or other roles.

Pay Scale:  $88,000 - $90,000

Bonus:  This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.

Benefits: Full-time: We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes: medical, dental and vision insurance, paid holidays, vacation and sick time, company paid basic life insurance, voluntary life insurance, parental leave, 401k Plan (with a current employer match of 3%), flexible spending and health savings account options, and wellness offerings.

*Employer does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position.

These are some of the perks of working at WRSTBND:

  • Salary commensurate with experience
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401(k) retirement plan with matching
  • Flexible work hours / policy
