Job Title: Supply Chain Business Analyst
Role Description:
We are seeking a senior Supply Chain & Procurement Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business operations and technical engineering. In this role, you will leverage advanced analytical modeling, data visualization, and emerging Generative AI technologies to drive strategic sourcing, procurement optimization, and global supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications :
Analytics & Data Modeling: 6+ years of hands-on professional experience with SQL, Tableau, and Python to perform data-rich exploratory analysis, build complex quantitative models, and deliver automated executive dashboards.
Business Analysis & Requirements Engineering: Strong Business Analyst (BA) background with proven experience gathering business requirements, authoring BRDs/FRDs, mapping current/future state processes, defining user stories, and managing end-to-end UAT.
Supply Chain & Procurement Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of core supply chain models, heuristics, and procurement concepts including Strategic Sourcing, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Purchase Order (PO) execution, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Supplier Performance Management, and Inventory Optimization.
Generative AI & Intelligent Automation: Hands-on experience or working familiarity leveraging Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI-assisted data workflows, and prompt engineering to automate operational reporting, summarize procurement contracts/trends, and accelerate insight discovery.
Systems & Software Implementation: Experience defining technical requirements and driving software, ERP (SAP/Oracle), or data platform implementations across large global organizations and multiple regions.
Communication & Executive Presence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex analytical outcomes, quantitative models, and technical roadblocks in clear, concise business terms to executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Influence & Leadership: Demonstrated ability to independently lead high-impact programs under tight, concurrent deadlines, acting as the primary liaison between business owners, procurement leaders, data engineers, and IT teams.
Databases & Architecture: Strong practical experience working with relational databases, dimensional data modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas), and data warehouse environments.
