Job description

Hardware Test Engineer – Mixed-Signal Validation

BrickRed Systems LLC | Morrisville, North Carolina, United States (On-site)

We are seeking a Hardware Test Engineer with deep experience in mixed-signal validation and hands-on lab work to support the development of next-generation silicon hardware for cloud technologies.

You’ll contribute to testing and characterizing integrated circuits that blend digital and analog functions, applying Python scripting, using lab instruments, and helping ensure final silicon quality.

Experience Required: 10+ Years

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute electrical validation of mixed-signal integrated circuits
  • Perform hardware setup using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and other lab tools
  • Write and maintain Python, TCL, and PDL scripts for automated test processes
  • Conduct detailed data collectioncharacterization, and report generation
  • Debug interfaces such as JTAG and work closely with design teams to resolve issues
  • Analyze test results to verify design specifications and identify performance gaps

Qualification:

  • 5+ years of Python scripting experience, specifically for hardware validation
  • 5+ years of hands-on lab experience, using electrical measurement equipment
  • Strong understanding of analog circuits and power delivery systems
  • Familiarity with TCL/PDL scripting and tools like Visual Studio (a plus)
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and debug digital interfaces (e.g., JTAG)
