Fall 2027 Co-op - Cost Engineering
As a Fall 2027 Cost Engineering Co-op at Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP), you'll learn about the Keurig® New Product Development process, dig into the details on manufacturing cost drivers, build cost models, and get exposure to working in a global organization. You'll support cost vs. performance tradeoff decisions, meet with KDP leaders, and network with individuals across the business while contributing to future successes!
Co-op with the Keurig® Cost Engineering Team and help bring incredible new products to life! Cost Engineers partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, Product, Finance, and other areas of the business to launch innovations that will delight consumers!

This role is aligned to the Coffee Operating Unit.
Shift/Schedule:
  • The KDP 2027 Internship Program will run from July 12th - December 10th, 2027
  • Location: Burlington, MA
  • Full-time; 40 hours per week
  • Monday-Friday
  • 8:00am until 5:00pm
  • Hybrid, In-office Tuesday-Thursday

As a Fall 2027 Cost Engineering Co-op you will:
  • Learn about Rapid Learning Cycles, New Product Development (NPD), and Product Costing
  • Analyze cost drivers, identify cost reduction opportunities, and activate resources across the Keurig® Brewer portfolio
  • Lead a cost modeling improvement project tailored to your experience and interests, then present results to leadership
  • Utilize best-in-class costing tools including the Keurig® Cost Workbook and aPriori
  • Get exposure to a global supply chain including electromechanical components, plastics, electronics, and multi-region contract manufacturing

Elements of the KDP 2027 Co-op Program include:
  • Engaging and partnering on innovative projects to gain experience in a fast paced, cross functional team environment
  • Receive mentor support for your professional development
  • Participate in meet & greets and lunch & learns with KDP executives and other organization leaders
  • Receive professional development training such as networking, professional skills development and presenting
  • Complete a project from start to finish and present it and your takeaways to your team, department, and senior leaders to highlight your project work and impact on the business

Total Rewards:
  • $31/hour
  • Paid bi-weekly
  • $5,000 sign on bonus pay, paid within first 30 days of employment

Requirements:
  • Undergraduate currently enrolled in a full time academic program from an accredited college or university, majoring in Industrial, Mechanical, or similar Engineering; Supply Chain Operations
  • Strong communication skills including excellent listening, written, and verbal abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize requests, and meet deadlines
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Relevant work experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to build professional relationships and challenge the status quo
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, is independently driven, and a self-starter
  • Experience working in an industrial/manufacturing environment is a plus
