UX Designer

New York City, NY

2-3 Days Onsite

Essential Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of client onboarding experiences, ensuring seamless and intuitive processes for both internal and external users. Facilitate workshops to gather insights, define problems, and ideate solutions, involving key stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Develop comprehensive user journey maps that outline the end-to-end client experience, identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement. Create interactive prototypes using tools such as Figma and Figjam, allowing for iterative testing and feedback.

Conduct usability testing sessions using platforms like UserTesting.com, analyze results, and iterate on designs based on user feedback. Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility. Leverage deep knowledge of the financial services domain to design intuitive and compliant solutions that meet industry standards and regulations.

Essential Requirements

Minimum of 8 years of UX design experience, with at least 5 years in designing internal and external enterprise applications within the financial services domain. Proficiency in Figma, Figjam, and UserTesting.com. Strong expertise in conducting design thinking workshops, user journey mapping, and creating interactive prototypes. In-depth understanding of financial services, including knowledge of industry standards and regulations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate design concepts to various stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a user-centered approach to design.

Preferred Skills

Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with other design and prototyping tools and methodologies. Background in HCI, Graphic Design, or a related field.
