We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a team in Sinton, Texas and build reliable, scalable applications that support business operations. This role involves creating and improving both front-end and back-end solutions, partnering with users to translate needs into effective technical outcomes, and maintaining high standards for code quality and security. The ideal candidate brings strong problem-solving ability, solid experience with modern development tools, and a proactive approach to delivering well-documented, dependable software.
Responsibilities:
• Build, enhance, and support software applications and related services using contemporary development technologies such as C#, .NET, Python, and web-based frameworks.
• Investigate application issues, diagnose root causes, and implement fixes that improve stability, functionality, and performance.
• Produce clear technical documentation covering system behavior, design decisions, and implementation details to support maintainability.
• Apply secure development methods and align coding practices with established organizational standards and quality expectations.
• Manage assigned tasks independently, track commitments responsibly, and deliver work within agreed timelines.
• Collaborate with business users to gather, clarify, and translate functional needs into practical software solutions.
• Create and optimize SQL components, including queries, views, stored procedures, and triggers, with an emphasis on efficiency and appropriate design.
• Contribute to integrations and connected systems through APIs, webhooks, and other modern interface methods.
• Strengthen technical capabilities through ongoing learning and by staying current with evolving tools, practices, and engineering approaches.• At least 3 years of experience in a software engineering or software development position supporting production applications.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks, including C#, .NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript, React.js, and Python.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining both user-facing and server-side application components.
• Strong knowledge of SQL development, including writing and supporting queries, views, stored procedures, and triggers in production environments.
• Experience working with source control tools such as Git and integrating applications through REST APIs and webhooks.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, determine underlying causes, and deliver effective resolutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work directly with end users and technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with software integration patterns, modern application architecture, and automated testing frameworks is preferred.
