Senior Software Engineer - SIPR About the job

Senior Software Engineer will be a member of the development team for One Network's Supply Chain Application module suite. ONE Network Supply Chain Application modules are built on the ONE Network Platform, a runtime and SDK for building enterprise business applications. The Supply Chain modules include components at various layers: server-side, integration, supply chain planning engines, user-interface, and design-time studio tools. This position will be responsible for leading module development and working directly with customers for project implementation. This position will work in the functional areas of Supply Chain Mgmt. He will manage all lifecycle stages for a product from ideation through sunset, with responsibility for ensuring that deliverables are understood, and releases are delivered on time. He will participate in customer demos, pre-sales and product development, including requirements analysis, design, prototyping, model building, and testing.

Candidate must have a strong technical background of DoD Secure Internet Protocol Router (SIPR) Network infrastructure and how this applies to DoD and/or Commercial Software applications. This position will be ISO for the US Air Force Theater Integrated Combat Munitions System (TICMS) Program.

Candidate must currently hold or previously held a DoD Secret Security Clearance (within the past year).

Candidate will need to be based in the state of Utah drivable distance to Hill Air Force Base like Salt Lake City or Ogden, Utah.

What will you do:
  • Conducting discovery sessions with Customers
  • Analyzing Customer requirements and documenting Software Requirements Specification
  • Producing design documents and participating in design reviews
  • Writing code, unit tests, and build/deployment scripts
  • Participating in code reviews
  • Reviewing Test Strategies
  • Executing performance/scalability tests & profiling hotspots
  • Collaborating with QA, TechOps and Production Support during the various phases of the project
Required Skills:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Developing software
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Leading a Team
  • 4+ years of experience in a Supply Chain environment
  • 4+ years developing multi-level, multi-tiered enterprise applications
  • Client facing Experience
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills
  • Strong Object-Oriented Programming Skills. Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Java programming language
  • Understanding of software design patterns, J2EE components (EJB, JSP, Servlets), and XML
  • Experience with relational databases (preferably Oracle) and Object/Relational frameworks. Should be able to write SQL queries, procedures, triggers and do basic performance tuning.
  • Experience with enterprise integration patterns & protocols, including SOAP, REST, JMS, EDI.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, support
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Prior experience in development or consulting with an enterprise software vendor is a plus.
  • Functional knowledge of supply chains, logistics, order management, master data management, cataloging, etc. is a plus
  • Candidate must have a strong technical background of DoD Secure Internet Protocol Router (SIPR) Network infrastructure and how this applies to DoD and/or Commercial Software applications.
