This support may include visa sponsorship, travel expenses, temporary housing, or other relocation benefits. Companies offer these jobs to attract talent from different regions or countries to work onsite at their offices. You may also need to navigate logistical aspects of moving, such as housing, visas, and adjusting to a different city or country. However, most employers offer relocation support and onboarding programs to help ease the transition. Many engineers find that exposure to diverse projects and colleagues enhances their professional growth and problem-solving abilities. Job description

Clave is building an AI-native operating system for QSR franchises, connecting POS, inventory, labor, ERP, and more into one AI brain that analyzes data, recommends actions, and executes across locations. As a Founding Full Stack Engineer in Miami, youโ€™ll build production AI agents, data pipelines, and full-stack features end-to-endโ€”shipping fast, handling messy real-world data, and owning infrastructure. This is an in-office, high-agency role for a missionโ€‘driven builder who thrives in ambiguity and wants meaningful equity.

Weโ€™re not just building another SaaS product. Weโ€™ve lived the problem:

Our family runs ChurroMania (140+ stores, 10 countries, $34M revenue). Weโ€™ve watched Burger King struggle with 1996 Panasonic software. Weโ€™ve seen McDonaldโ€™s run Windows XP systems from 2005. We know exactly what itโ€™s like to operate based off of gut instinct instead of data, and have to think about a million things while trying to run your store at the same time.

The future is autonomous stores run by AI. Weโ€™re building it from lived experience, not a hunch.

Why We Win
  1. Domain Expertise: 20+ years operating QSR franchises at scale
  2. Real Customer Problems: Weโ€™re our own first customer (ChurroMania as testing sandbox)
  3. Traction: $103K ARR in 5 months, 36% MoM growth, customers including Jamba Juice, Oakberry, Auntie Anneโ€™s
  4. Funded & Growing: Raising $750K pre-seed, already have commitments from Geek VC, Hustle Fund, Untapped Capital
  5. Second-Time Founders: Weโ€™ve built and exited before. We know how to ship.
  6. Link to something you built: (GitHub, deployed project, demo video)
  7. Why Clave + Why Now: (3-5 sentences on why youโ€™re excited about this specific opportunity at this specific moment)
Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and deploy production AI agents that analyze real-time franchise data and take autonomous actions
  • Implement RAG architectures, vector databases, agent orchestration, and multi-agent systems
  • Build robust ETL/ELT pipelines integrating POS, Inventory, ERP, and Labor systems (e.g., Square, Toast, 7shifts, MarketMan, legacy systems)
  • Own full-stack delivery: backend services, customer-facing frontends, and infrastructure from dev to production
  • Model and manage data across PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and related warehousing/graph systems
  • Ship quickly with weekly meaningful releases; iterate based on operator feedback and real-world outcomes
  • Set up and maintain cloud infrastructure, containers, and CI/CD (AWS/GCP, Docker)
  • Leverage AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) to accelerate development velocity
  • Contribute to API design, testing, monitoring, and reliability for production systems
  • Collaborate closely in-office with the founding team; contribute to culture, processes, and product direction
Requirements
  • Proven AI/ML production experience building and deploying AI agents (LangChain/LangGraph, vector DBs, RAG pipelines) with demonstrable examples
  • Strong data engineering skills: ETL/ELT, data modeling, integration of messy multi-source real-world data
  • Full-stack proficiency: Backend (Python/Node.js/TypeScript, FastAPI) and Frontend (React/Next.js/TypeScript)
  • High ship velocity: ability to deliver in days to weeks with rapid iteration and production deployment
  • Comfort using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) to significantly accelerate development
  • Startup experience or clear aptitude for 0โ†’1: comfort with ambiguity, wearing multiple hats, and high ownership
  • Ego-less, truth-seeking, and collaborative mindset; bias to action and high agency
  • Mission-driven orientation with interest in meaningful equity and real customer impact
  • In-office, full-time in Miami (Monโ€“Fri, occasional weekends); willingness to relocate within 30โ€“60 days
  • Authorized to work in the US; visa sponsorship available for exceptional candidates
  • Tech stack familiarity: LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI/Claude APIs, RAG; PostgreSQL/Supabase/Snowflake; AWS/GCP, Docker, CI/CD, Apache Kafka, Twilio, Resend
Benefits
  • $80,000 - $110,000
  • Founding team equity grant with 4-year vesting (.5%-1.3%)
  • Full access to Claude Code, Cursor, and any AI coding tools you need.
  • Daily Lunch Stipend
  • Health insurance + gym membership
  • Help with moving costs and getting settled in Miami (weโ€™re 15+ year locals)
  • 2-4 week paid remote trial before you relocate
