What is a software engineer project manager?

A Software Engineer Project Manager is a professional who oversees software development projects from inception to completion. They combine technical expertise in software engineering with project management skills to coordinate teams, manage timelines, allocate resources, and ensure that project goals are met. This role often involves bridging the gap between technical teams and stakeholders, facilitating communication, and managing risks. They are responsible for delivering high-quality software products on time and within budget.

How does a software engineer project manager balance technical responsibilities with project management duties?
