Job description

Position Summary

The High School Engineering Intern position is a part-time opportunity designed for students interested in exploring careers in engineering, manufacturing, or technology. Students will split their time between attending school and gaining hands-on experience at Cleaver-Brooks in the Engineering department.

This internship provides valuable exposure to professional work practices, project support, and cross-functional collaboration in an engineering environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Engineering team with submittals, order entry, and project documentation
  • Assist with various engineering-related tasks under the guidance of staff engineers
  • Learn and apply workplace practices in a professional environment
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to gain exposure to engineering workflows and processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental needs

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled as a high school student
  • Interest in pursuing a technical certification, 2-year degree, or 4-year degree in engineering, manufacturing, technology, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Work Schedule
