Join us as an Engineering Student for our Atlantic Canada district, within our Canadian Buildings sector for 4 months starting January 2027. Depending on your assigned project as an Engineering Student, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

Responsibilities
  • Conducting trade quote reviews - verifying material quantities, hours, and rates.
  • Conducting deficiency walks.
  • Inputting and updating deficiency logs.
  • Issuing warranties.
  • Taking/coordinating progress photos.
  • Updating, coordinating, and producing drawings.
  • Performing quantity takeoffs.
  • Coordinating and supervising sub-trade work.
  • Verifying site conditions and coordinating with drawings.
  • Setting up and maintaining record keeping.
  • Updating project schedules.
  • Obtaining scheduling information from sub-trades.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Working towards a degree or diploma in a civil engineering or a related field preferred.
  • A passion for working in a construction environment.
  • Experience with the application of various computer software programs, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.
  • Self-motivated with a hands-on approach.
  • Prior field construction experience is considered an asset.
