Parts and Product Offering Analyst

Pay: $25.00–$28.00/hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Parts and Product Offering Analyst to research, analyze, and organize information related to agricultural tractor parts and product offerings.

MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF AGRICULTURAL TRACTORS AND TRACTOR PARTS.

This position will research parts applications, specifications, fitment, competitors, and obsolete part numbers while maintaining accurate databases and product information. The ideal candidate will be analytical, comfortable researching technical information, and able to identify relationships between parts and applications.

Responsibilities

  • Research agricultural tractor parts using parts books, digital archives, journals, catalogs, and competitor databases.
  • Gather and verify part specifications, applications, fitment, and related technical information.
  • Fact-check information to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Research existing information and identify gaps that require additional research.
  • Organize research findings into databases, spreadsheets, logs, and other tracking systems.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities related to parts demand and product offerings.
  • Develop research methods and plans based on project requirements.
  • Create cross-reference mappings between obsolete part numbers and modern manufacturing equivalents.
  • Research and verify proper part fitment and applications.
  • Prepare research reports, presentations, summaries, and other project deliverables.
  • Present findings and recommendations to management and project teams.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation.
  • Work closely with team members, project managers, and company leadership.
  • Support product offering and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of agricultural tractors and tractor parts is required.
  • Strong understanding of tractor systems, components, parts catalogs, and repair processes.
  • Ability to research and interpret technical parts information.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and diagrams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to learn new software and information systems.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, including prototyping, lead times, and materials.
