POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Frontend Engineer is a technical leader who owns large-scale UI features, complex interactions, and performance optimization strategies. This role ensures best-in-class user experiences through architectural leadership, mentorship, and close collaboration with design and backend teams. The Senior Frontend Engineer plays a key role in defining frontend standards, driving best practices, and elevating the overall engineering culture.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Job Responsibilities:



  • Lead the design and implementation of complex frontend features and user experiences.

  • Define and enforce standards for frontend architecture, component reusability, performance, and accessibility.

  • Collaborate with product and design teams to translate strategic initiatives into technical implementation.

  • Drive frontend performance improvements, including code splitting, caching, and rendering optimization.

  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, providing code reviews, technical guidance, and pairing sessions.

  • Contribute to the evolution of the design system and reusable component libraries.

  • Partner with backend and platform teams to define efficient integration patterns and API contracts.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:



  • 5+ years of experience in frontend engineering with deep expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and a modern framework (React preferred).

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale, performant, and accessible web applications.

  • Strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and testing practices.

  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product, design, and backend engineering teams.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and mentorship skills.


Preferred:



  • Experience leading technical initiatives and improving frontend platforms at scale.

  • Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture, server-side rendering (SSR), and design systems.

  • Contributions to open-source projects or internal tooling initiatives.


Salary Range: 105,000 - 145,000
