Job Title: Software Engineer Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * The Opportunity: We are seeking a talented Software Engineer professional that is excited to improve battlespace awareness and decision-making support at all echelons across Combat Air Force (AF) Command and Control (C2) and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) enterprise, Intelligence Community (IC), Joint, and Coalition air, space, cyberspace, and intelligence components, systems, and architectures. You'll support software development and engineering, operations and maintenance (O&M) and research and development (R&D) for AF C2 & ISR related research, studies, analysis, operations, and you'll increase mission effectiveness, improve information security, and implement new and emerging information access, processing, analysis and dissemination technologies in response to critical AF and IC multi-domain needs across Air, Space, and Cyber. Use of industry proven design patterns and open-source tools is encouraged, along with a dedication to staying educated on current technology trends. Provide design and development expertise in support of both new application development tasks and maintenance. Support the entire product lifecycle to include systems engineering and requirement analysis, technical design, system integration, implementation, and deployment. Required Qualifications: 3+ years experience with modern software development, e.g., Java (J2EE), Spring, as part of a development team utilizing strict configuration management practices e.g., git, Gitlab, GitHub. 3+ years experience with modern web application development to include JavaScript, Node.js, Angular or React

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field Experience with industry standard build, packaging, and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab, Maven, Yum, NPM, and RPM. Intermediate debugging and run time skills needed. Experience in designing and developing RESTful interfaces.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Experience in containerization for development and cloud deployment. e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack

Experience with DevSecOps and/or CI/CD. Experience using AGILE SCRUM or other similar methodology preferred. A TS/SCI security clearance is required to begin employment.
