Job description

Sales & Customer Support Representative

StrongGo Industries  - Tucson, Arizona · In-Office · Full-time

Who We Are

StrongGo Industries manufactures advanced polymer concrete Tactile Warning Surface Indicators (TWSI) — the ADA-required detectable warning surfaces you see at curb ramps, transit platforms, and job sites everywhere. We're growing, and we need a “hunter” who loves finding sales prospects, not just managing them.

If you know your way around construction bid sites, understand street-scape design and/or can read construction plans, aren't afraid to pick up the phone, want to build something with a small, tight, scrappy team, and be well-compensated without the stress of commissions — keep reading.

What You'll Do

•       Research:  Hunt for construction projects that need TWSIs — old-school networking + internet research

•       Generate Leads:  Search Construction Bidding Platforms (CBP) to find bids/projects that require TWSIs.

•       Issue Quotes:  Contact winning eng. firms, contractors and/or subs and quote the required TWSI products.

•       Manage Leads/Quotes/Clients:  Keep your pipeline tight and organized in our Customer Resource Management (CRM) database.

•       Deliver Excellent Customer Support:  Team up with Marketing, Technical, and Customer Support teams to get quotes out fast and TWSIs delivered on time, including occasional product packing in our warehouse and installation support in the field.

•       Pre-Specify TekWay®:  Work with Marketing and Technical teams to educate project owners (munis, agencies, businesses) on compliant and effective use, placement and selection of TWSIs to secure pre-specification for TekWay® TWSIs in project plans.

•       Build Reputation/Rapport:  Build real relationships with Engineering/Design firms, GCs, Subs, and Construction Project Teams concerning equitable accessibility for the blind and visually impaired.

•       Supply Turnkey Services:  Own your deals start to finish—first contact to delivered product and lasting installation.

Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Differentiating Attributes (Stand-out Skills)

•       Experience (Knowledge):  2+ years in construction/building product sales (bonus points for TWSI or ADA products knowledge)

•       Differentiating Attributes: Understanding of and/or experience working in Streetscape Design, Construction, reading Construction Plans, working with CBP and/or CRM software experience.

Minimum Qualification and/or Experience

•       Communication:  Clear verbal, written (email, phone, video calls) and sales communication skills.

•       Interpersonal:  Rapport building, relationship management, professional etiquette, business courtesy.

•       Technical / Digital:  MS Office (Excel, Sheets, Docs, Slides) / Google Workspace.

•       Personal / Professional:  Self-motivated, goal oriented, coachable.  Skilled, self-disciplined time management.

•       Physical Capabilities:  Ability to lift a 30lb TWSI, valid driver's license, and OK traveling to site visits/meetings.
