We are seeking a Devops Engineer to join our team.
The role focuses on supporting and enhancing a statewide web-based grants management system used for public safety, victim services, law enforcement, and court offices across Pennsylvania.
What You'll Do
  • Develop and design software solutions to meet user requirements
  • Define test plans and acceptance criteria for technical components
  • Ensure technical solutions align with business requirements
  • Execute detailed design and product testing
  • Adhere to programming standards and best practices
  • Manage and report time spent on all work activities
  • Collaborate effectively in a team environment and communicate status updates clearly
  • Anticipate and resolve issues specific to the team's activities
  • Identify, document, and track issues, risks, and action items
What You'll Need
Required:
  • 5+ years of experience developing complex applications in an object-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in Visual Basic and C# for application development
  • 5+ years of experience working with XML, CSS, and HTML
  • 5+ Years of strong experience with SQL Server or a comparable RDBMS
  • Familiarity with source code management tools
  • Advanced MS Office skills
Preferred:
  • 3+ years of experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
  • Experience with issue tracking management tools
  • Understanding of public safety, criminal justice, training and certification, or financial systems concepts
  • Exposure to Telerik .NET UI controls
