Our Test Systems Engineering team in Military Aircraft Group is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join them. You will report to the Software Engineering Manager, Test Systems and will have a hybrid work schedule in East Aurora, NY.

As a Senior Software Engineer with our Test Systems Engineering team, you will:

  • Design and implement software that performs data acquisition and control for automated test equipment

  • Perform systems and software integration and verification activities using real and simulated hardware

  • Lead a team to provide system definition, requirements authoring, software development and verification, controlling project costs

  • Work with other groups to coordinate efforts in the design, implementation, and testing phases of each assigned project.

  • Travel internally and domestically as necessary.

To be considered for this role, here's what you'll typically bring with you:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience and a minimum of eight (10) years' experience, or a Master's degree and six (8) years' experience

  • Experience programming in LabVIEW , C, Python, dSPACE, or Simulink computer languages

  • Experience leading and organizing engineering teams, while maintaining organization communications

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and ability to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs

  • Ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization and have experience working with external constituencies

  • Ability to understand and convey complex regulations/procedures

Buffalo, NY $120,000.00-$150,000.00 Annually
