Job description

Position Summary: This position will report to the Sr. Product Manager.  Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Management Intern to join our New Product Team where we design and manufacture state-of-the art Phantom high-speed imaging systems from our headquarters in Wayne, NJ. 

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on both hardware and software projects and ultimately supports the development and launch of new products on our roadmap. You will contribute to sales enablement initiatives, documentation, and potentially collaborate with users to shape software features that enhance overall product experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams throughout the development stages of our high-speed camera and software projects – Gaining experience in an established NPD stage gate process
  • Work with sales and marketing teams to develop sales enablement materials such as market comparisons and training content
  • Create and contribute to product documentation
  • Conduct market and competitive research to support product positioning and roadmap decisions
  • Learn about technical applications, eventually engaging with end users to gather valuable VOC feedback on specific use cases
  • Assist in testing, validating and documenting new features

Position Requirements:

  • Interest in imaging technology and/or scientific instrumentation
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience or coursework in optics, imaging or software development is a plus
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices is a plus
