SCM Intern

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:
  • Apply lean manufacturing techniques to improve material movements from supplier, intracompany, and to the customer.
  • Plan and execute SCM Material Handler time studies, line balancing, and process improvements.
  • Develop plan for PFEP (Place For Every Part), determine minimum and maximum quantities on production lines, and improve materials visualization.
  • Provide weekly summary reports detailing daily tasks.
  • Administrative support for the Supply Chain team

This is what you bring to us:
  • Currently enrolled in your studies in either SCM Management or related to that field
  • Warehouse experience with warehouse management software experience preferred
  • Knowledge of shipping/receiving/accounting procedures preferred
  • Eager to learn and positive attitude towards work
  • Flexibility and capability to work in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to utilize SAP, MS Excel and Word to document experiment results and organize/analyze data
  • Strong verbal/written communications skills and the ability to work with a team as well as communicate towards customer if required
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. from a floor or table position to chest high using a proper lifting technique
