Metro Atlanta Chamber - Talent Development Internship
The Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC) is a 166-year-old organization representing businesses, educational institutions, and nonprofits across the 29-county region that forms the nation's eighth-largest market. Member companies invest in MAC's work to attract and retain businesses, advocate for a business-friendly climate through public policy and promote the region as a great place to live, work and play.
Summary:
The Talent Development Intern will work alongside a high-performing team who engage with businesses, workforce and education providers, and state & local agencies. The talent intern will gain experience in education and workforce development, focusing on talent attraction, retention, and education initiatives.
This paid internship offers flexible hours (25-35 per week) and provides experience in project management and communications. Ideal candidates are strong writers and communicators, proactive, and self-motivated.
Work Program:
  • Coordinate and assist in drafting monthly talent and education communications to external partners via the "MAC Talent Event Snapshot" newsletter.
  • Assist in managing the internal team CRM system, hosted on Monday.com.
  • Represent MAC in meetings and webinars as needed, reporting key takeaways and actively participating at events.
  • Assist with event planning and execution, ensuring seamless coordination for Talent Team related events.
  • Provide program and administrative support for MAC initiatives, such as the ATL Talent Collaborative, ATL Interns After 5, etc

Minimum Requirements:
  • Recent graduates or current students with a strong interest in workforce development, project management, business administration, or communications.
  • Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated writing and editing proficiency.
  • Reliable transportation for both office and occasional offsite event travel.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-moving environment.
