Intuit internships are 12 weeks throughout the summer. We have fixed start and end dates that are designed to work with various universities’ academic calendars.


  • Cohort 1: Monday, May 17 - Friday, August 6, 2027 (12 weeks)
  • Cohort 2: Monday, June 14 - Friday September 3, 2027 (12 weeks)

As a Software Engineer Intern, you’ll help build solutions that transform how millions of consumers and small businesses manage their finances across cloud, platform, mobile, and SaaS environments. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications and systems.
  • Contribute to code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Participate in debugging and resolving software defects.
  • Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Support the deployment and maintenance of software

Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in a degree-seeking program (associate’s, bachelor's, master's, MBA, PhD, or the equivalent) with an expected graduation date after the internship ends
  • Familiarity with AI tools and a curiosity about how AI can be applied to solve real-world problems
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for the duration of the internship
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment at an Intuit office location determined by your team and role (Relocation stipend will be provided)
  • Familiarity with both frontend and backend development
  • Ability to work effectively with developers and designers, discussing application and API architectures
  • Ability to work with Scrum teams
  • Familiarity with tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Travis
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design and fundamental programming concepts.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and the software development lifecycle
  • A "self-starter" attitude with the ability to take initiative and make independent decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a history of successfully delivering on assigned tasks.
  • Desire to learn and grow within a technical environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
