TITLE: Software Development Engineering - Advisor
EMPLOYER: Fiserv Solutions, LLC
LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI 53203 (and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. subject to authorization from management)
DUTIES: Deliver moderate to complex projects with work objects and artifacts that are clean, scalable, reliable and free of vulnerabilities by building and enhancing software modules and coordinating with interfacing teams and multiple stakeholders. Provide production support for Client Account and Billing System (CABS) on day-to-day activities that ensure accurate and efficient billing operations as well as optimize process performance. Provide leadership in functional and process areas in defining new solutions, assessments, and performance improvements to meet Fiserv standards and ensure cost savings, efficient operations and automations. Adopt and apply new technology and its fitting and use for the current system and conduct regular sessions with the team for information sharing. Mentor new team members and manage knowledge-sharing activities.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and 4 years in any job title involving user interface and batch processing development experience. Alternatively employer will accept Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and 2 years in any job title involving user interface and batch processing development experience. Prior experience must include: 2 years working with PL-SQL, Pro-C, Oracle Forms & Reports and Unix shell scripting; 2 years analyzing and debugging end-to-end production problems to ensure resilient information systems; 1 year working in Java; 1 year working in an Agile methodology; 1 year working with AppWorx or Control-M; 1 year providing development and production support for a 24/7 availability system; and 1 year working with Oracle Fusion Middleware.
