Job Summary:
Swift is the worldโ€™s leading provider of secure financial messaging services, headquartered in Belgium. They are seeking a Junior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to implement, test, and maintain software logic while contributing to system specifications and providing technical assistance to colleagues.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Implement, test and/or maintain detailed logic.
โ€ข Gain understanding of customer requirements.
โ€ข Contribute in the preparation of systems specifications, codes, tests, debugs, documentation, job controls, deliverables.
โ€ข Discuss problems and possible solutions with more senior team members.
โ€ข Provide technical assistance to other SWIFT colleagues in their daily work.
โ€ข Maintain program libraries and technical documentation.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข University degree in computer science or related field.
Preferred:
โ€ข Any relevant professional experience an asset.
โ€ข Hands on experience in Linux environment is a plus.
โ€ข Good understanding of scripting languages such as Python, Shell scripting.
