The Software Engineer Intern is an opportunity to experience the various roles and responsibilities that require software development skills within the Business Technology Services Team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for software/application development and a working knowledge of development fundamentals.

The GreatAmerica internship program is a tool designed to recruit the best and brightest students from college campuses in order to build GreatAmerica bench strength for our programming roles. Our internship program allows students to gain first hand exposure to what a career in programming is like. Our internships often turn into full-time employment opportunities for students!

To be successful in this role you'll need:

  • Computer Skills: Visual Studio, asp.NET, SQL, SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft Windows/Office ecosystem

  • Other Requirements: Familiarity with software development lifecycle fundamentals

  • Education: Pursuing Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other relevant technical degree
