Job description

 KEY JOB FUNCTIONS
- Facilitates the design and development of automated test methodologies, collaborating with engineering and product teams to identify impacts of changes or enhancements
- Leverages coding expertise in the development and maintenance of test tools and frameworks to validate integration and functional tests of the system
- Verifies that the new functionality and/or other non-functional requirements have been satisfied, and component calculations are implemented in the software as per the Requirements
- Enhances overall testing capabilities, test design and automation

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Expertise in Regression Testing, Smoke/Sanity Testing, Positive and Negative Testing, Black Box Testing, Database Testing.
- Anticipates product development team needs for specialized test tools and frameworks.
- Strong programming experience in Java, Python/R, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts.
- Familiarity with SAS and experience with SQL
- AWS experience: S3, Lambda and Step functions, EC2/EMR, SNS/SQS, DynamoDB/Postgres SQL/Redshift/RDS
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux environment.
- Hands on experience implementing test automation for enterprise applications (web, SOA, ETL, and backend, API)
- Proficiency with open-source automation tools (Selenium, Selenide, Cucumber, Gherkin)
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (Jenkins)
- Experience with build tools (Maven, Nexus)
- Expertise with version control tools (Bitbucket), and experience with project management tools (Jira)
- Good understanding in test automation of REST API Services using POSTMAN/REST Assured library.
- Extensive experience of Creating, Modifying and Maintaining new and existing Automation Framework Models, such as Behavior Driven, and Data Driven, by using Page Object Model and Page Factory Design.
- Knowledge of mortgage industry mathematics is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
- Capable of explaining and documenting complex systems.
- Conscientious attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency in analytical work.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills to conduct analysis independently to address complex economic or business problems.
