  • From an app testing standpoint, Rest APIs - should know everything about it - Java, Selenium, Cucumber, WebDriver, and SQL will be a big part of this
  • Postman and Newman for API testing
  • Mechanism of testing APIs are more important than the tool they have
  • Understand what APIs are, how/why they do such testing - what they look for, data schema/validations, etc
  • Cucumber is the tool to do BDD - they need to fundamentally know the concept of "why" - what is BDD and why that's being leveraged.
