Position Summary

Credence has an immediate opening for a B-2 Software Engineer at the senior level to support the B-2 Division who is responsible for the modernization, test, production, fielding and sustainment of B-2 aircraft and related systems.  The B-2 is a high demand, low density fleet that is 20+ years old, is undergoing numerous concurrent acquisitions to solve obsolescence issues, and delivers critical aerial denial/anti-access and nuclear capabilities at Tinker AFB, OK. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below: 

  • Apply software engineering knowledge in support of the design, development, T&E, implementation, maintenance, and administration of new and/or existing software systems.
  • Apply an understanding of systems acquisition, system and sub-system level hardware and software integration, systems requirements analysis and allocation, computer systems architecture, and systems and subsystems T&E.
  • Support developing and updating applicable program documentation for software engineering relevant requirements.
  • Support the development of the software development strategy and Software Development Plan.
  • Apply an understanding of aeronautical vehicle systems and/or airborne or related ground systems avionics operational flight program capabilities to support core engineering tasks related to software engineering, software security, and cybersecurity.
  • Support the tasks required to design, develop, integrate, and field IFCs.
  • Assist in maintaining enterprise-wide project awareness for companion efforts and IFC fielding.

Requirements

  • Active secret security clearance
  • Must have an ABET accredited Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) years of which must be in the DoD;
  • OR must have an ABET accredited bachelor's degree in a related field and fifteen (15) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) years of which must be in the DoD
