The Civil EIT/EI - Water Resources supports engineering design and development across all phases of civil water/wastewater treatment projects. This role collaborates closely with project managers, engineers, and technical teams to deliver high-quality, timely, and compliant design solutions. Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and coordination of civil engineering projects related to water resources.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop proposals, scopes, and fees.
  • Support the demands of planning and modeling, regulatory compliance, and permitting.
  • Review project details to proactively manage risk.
  • Evaluate observations and systems that will withstand the elements on the installation site.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and other industry software to develop and revise construction drawings and technical documents.
  • Participate in internal project meetings and collaborate on timelines and deliverables.
  • Conduct limited field visits and site observations under minimal supervision.
  • Communicate project status and needs effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Engineer Intern (EI) certification.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and other civil design software.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in water/wastewater treatment or related civil engineering discipline.
  • Familiarity with field observation and construction administration tasks.
