Software Developer
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain Java applications for mission-critical systems. Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment. Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code in accordance with software development best practices. Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies and presenting them for architectural review. Collaborate with other software developers, and software architects to plan, design, develop, and test web and desktop applications. Prepare and produce releases of software components. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3–5 years of proven hands-on software development experience. Solid object-oriented analysis and design skills using common design patterns. Profound insight of Java and JRE. Excellent knowledge of relational databases. Experience with the Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data). Experience with build tools for continuous integration. Familiarity with version control systems. Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (e.g., JSF, Vaadin, Wicket, GWT). Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of microservices architecture. Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies. Minimum Secret Clearance, with the ability to obtain a SCI
