Type: Contract (6+ Months, Potential Extension / Possible Contract-to-Hire)

Position Overview
Fusion HCR is seeking a Full Stack .NET Developer to join an innovative technology team supporting enterprise web applications and digital platforms for a premier hospitality and entertainment organization. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys building modern, scalable applications across the full technology stack while spending the majority of their time developing robust backend solutions using C# and .NET.

The ideal candidate is passionate about writing clean, maintainable code, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and thrives in a collaborative Agile environment. You'll work alongside Product Managers, UX Designers, Business Analysts, and fellow Software Engineers to deliver applications supporting both guest-facing digital experiences and critical internal business operations, with opportunities to contribute to modern frontend applications as well.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development & API Engineering

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using C# and the Microsoft .NET platform
  • Build and enhance RESTful APIs, backend services, and system integrations that support enterprise applications
  • Develop business logic and data-driven solutions while optimizing application performance and reliability
  • Write efficient SQL queries and collaborate on database design to support highly available applications

Full Stack & Frontend Contribution

  • Contribute to modern frontend development using React, JavaScript, and related technologies when project needs require
  • Participate in application modernization initiatives, enhancing existing systems while contributing to new features

Collaboration & Agile Delivery

  • Partner with UX, Product, and Business teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Collaborate with fellow developers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and adherence to development best practices
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and retrospectives

Production & Cloud Support

  • Support cloud-hosted applications, deployment processes, and ongoing production support activities

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong experience developing applications using C# and .NET Framework and/or .NET Core
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services
  • Solid understanding of SQL Server, database design, and performance optimization
  • Experience developing full stack web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Experience working with source control and collaborative development practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional Agile teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with React, Next.js, or similar modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Experience working with Contentful, Sitecore, or other headless CMS platforms
  • Experience developing applications hosted in Azure and/or AWS cloud environments
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and DevOps best practices
  • Experience with Docker, containerized applications, or cloud-native development
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs and enterprise systems
  • Hospitality, gaming, or large enterprise application experience is a plus
