Job description

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Software Engineer for our Columbus, Ohio location.

Responsibilities
  • Accountable for creating, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions that provide operational stability and seamless business continuity.
  • Responsible for delivering high-quality, innovative solutions that provide consistent, delightful experiences.
  • Engages in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept/design to development to delivery and post-launch support.
  • Collaborates with product partners and business stakeholders to grasp project requirements and translate them into technical specifications for software solutions which align with team strategies, standards, and guardrails.
  • Performs code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to coding standards, provides constructive feedback to team members.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM, a business-related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of Software Engineering Experience.
  • Proven experience in software engineering, preferably with proficiency in C#, .NET, PowerShell scripting, T-SQL, Azure Cloud Platforms (or equivalent cloud technologies), Azure DevOps, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Experience working closely with DevOps/DevSecOps teams.
  • Strong foundation in CI/CD Engineering.
  • Able to coordinate and mentor cross-team projects and development
