This role is hybrid 4 days per week in our clients Phoenix, AZ or Southlake, TX office and one day remote.

What You'll Do:
  • Serve as a hands-on Test Automation Engineer, embracing a DevOps philosophy within an Agile environment.
* Develop and implement comprehensive automation strategies and processes for web services, APIs, middleware, and user interfaces.
* Ensure automation remains current, flexible, and seamlessly integrated into continuous integration and deployment frameworks.
* Create methods and procedures for efficient automation test data generation and refresh capabilities.
* Collaborate with developers to enhance CI/CD automation practices.
* Act as the primary SDET for one or more scrum teams, coordinating with product owners and developers to integrate test automation and CI/CD practices.
* Maintain automation code using modern source control, test management, and release systems.
* Manage test case repositories and results throughout sprint and release cycles.
* Maintain test automation code and scripts within version control systems.
* Design and implement continuous testing pipelines for robust regression and smoke testing.
* Empower scrum teams to adopt Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies.
* Work within an Agile and DevOps framework to consistently deliver high-quality solutions with each sprint and release.
Must-Have Qualifications:
  • 5 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD).
* Demonstrated experience as a hands-on Test Automation Engineer in an Agile environment.
* Strong programming knowledge and experience in Object-Oriented languages (e.g., Java).
* Excellent communication skills (oral and written) for technical collaboration with architects, developers, QA peers, and business partners.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
  • BS Degree in Computer Science or a related field with 3+ years of experience in Test Automation in an Agile environment.
* Experience assisting in the design and implementation of scalable and maintainable automation for UI and API/Service level testing.
* Experience and knowledge with cloud technologies.
* Experience with modern collaboration and development tools.
* Experience with Selenium.
* Exposure to various test data management techniques and tools.
* Experience with cloud-based testing infrastructure tools.
* Experience with document databases.
* Understanding of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) in the context of application testing.
