Job Summary:
Accenture Federal Services is dedicated to helping the US federal government enhance national security and improve people's lives. The Software Development Engineer will participate in development efforts to deliver complete software solutions, including designing and implementing various software components and ensuring optimal use of enterprise infrastructure and security requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in development efforts to deliver a complete software solution.
• Design and implement all levels of the solution: data layer, application code, user interface.
• Design and deliver APIs and integrations with other software systems and databases.
• Architect for optimal use of enterprise infrastructure (cloud) and security requirements.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 10 years of experience in software engineering
• Experience with full lifecycle Agile software development projects
• Experience with software coding languages including 3 of the following: Java, Javascript, C/C++, C#, Python, OpenGL, Pearl, Visual Basic, Ruby, Angular, or Bash scripting
• Experience with database technologies including two (2) of the following: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, HBase, RDS or Cassandra, Dataformat, Iceburg, AWS, ECS2
• Experience with application lifecycle management tools including one (1) of the following: Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Nexus, or JIRA
• Experience deploying applications to a commercial cloud service
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in the field of computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or other related scientific or technical discipline
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
