Job Summary:
Accenture Federal Services is dedicated to helping the US federal government enhance national security and improve lives through technology. The Software Engineer will ensure application release deliverables meet required standards and manage project requirements across development and implementation teams.
Responsibilities:
• ensure that application release deliverables adhere to required standards
• managing project requirements and service request interdependencies to ensure release delivery and integrity
• working with individuals and teams from development through implementation across the delivery or engineering organizations
• support processes and tools associated with storage and code testing
• provide on-call support
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum 5 years of overall professional experience
• 2+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years of experience in developing with C#/.NET/Python/Java/C++ OR C
• Experience with distributed programming models
• Experience creating, developing, delivering, deploying, maintaining online services
• Experience with building pipelines with azure data factory, creating subscriptions and PowerBI
• Ability to provide on-call support
• TS/SCI with poly is required for this role
• Active US passport required
Preferred:
• Knowledge of networking and distributed systems
• Interest or exposure to networking technologies/concepts such as Software Defined Networking (SDN) and OpenFlow.
• Experience with TCP/IP, BGP, ANYCAST, IS-IS
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, asynchronous architectures and distributed algorithms.
• Experience in concurrency, multithreading and synchronization.
