Trends International, LLC (Trends) is the leading publisher and distributor of licensed products consisting of posters, calendars, stationery, and other related products to major retailers throughout North America from facilities in Indianapolis, Indiana and Toronto, Canada
Job Description
Specific Responsibilities:
• Develop new software and modify existing software.
• Develop an understanding of the structure of Trends' database and use that knowledge to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Willingness to learn additional languages and technologies as the need arises.
Qualifications
Requirements:
• Proficiency with C#, WPF, Entity Framework, and SQL
• Understanding of dependency injection and experience using an IoC framework
• Experience with unit testing and TDD using a testing framework such as the Visual Studio testing framework or NUnit
• Experience using a mocking framework when writing tests
• Understanding of and adherence to common architectural patterns such as MVC, MVVM, MVP
• Understanding of DDD and SOA
• 4+ years of software development experience
• 4+ years of experience with PeopleSoft, SQR, and Application Engine is preferred
• Bachelors in Computer Science or a related field
