Description:

 The Eastern Shawnee - Veracity JV is a tribally-owned 8(a) certified strategic joint venture between Eastern Shawnee Professional Services (ESPS) and Veracity Consulting (Veracity) created to provide agile, effective IT and business solutions for federal clients. Together, this joint venture brings streamlined contracting, extensive IT expertise, and proven reliability to support mission-critical federal initiatives.


Summary.

The AV/IT Technician (Tier 2) provides advanced technical support, system repair, programming, and configuration for AV/IT systems at MSCoE G6 facilities. This position performs complex troubleshooting and ensures all systems meet mission requirements. This position is on-site at Fort Leonard Wood. This opportunity is contingent upon award. The selected candidate may be hired as either an ESPS employee or Veracity employee, depending on project planning and organizational needs. The employing entity will not affect the day-to-day responsibilities or expectations of the position.


Responsibilities.

• Provide Tier 2 troubleshooting and perform advanced diagnostics.
• Repair and replace AV/IT hardware including displays, projectors, amplifiers, switches, and workstations.
• Install and configure AV/IT systems and apply firmware or software updates.
• Program or modify Crestron, Extron, or AMX control systems.
• Assist with AV/IT system integration, including network connectivity and VTC platforms.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and update configuration records.
• Support special events requiring high-level technical oversight.
• Coordinate with MSCoE G6 IT staff for network-related AV issues.

Requirements:


Qualifications.

Minimum Education and Experience.

• High school diploma.
• Minimum 3 years of AV/IT technical support experience.


Preferred Qualifications.

• CompTIA Network+ or Security+ required.
• CTS certification preferred.
• Experience with AV networking, control systems, and IT infrastructure.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities.

• Strong diagnostic and repair skills for AV and IT systems.
• Knowledge of VTC, collaboration tools, and networked AV environments.
• Ability to document work clearly and follow configuration standards.
• Strong customer service orientation.


Other Requirements.

• Secret clearance required.
• Ability to support after-hours events as needed.


Work Environment.

• Technical fieldwork across multiple facilities.
• Occasional high-demand event environments.


Physical Abilities 

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and manipulate AV hardware.
• Ability to climb, bend, reach, and work in tight spaces.
