SAM Nutrition is looking for energetic professional to join our dynamic team. We are a growing company, which has doubled in size over the last year.Fast paced and fun work environment with a great team! This is an opportunity to join one of the fastest growing companies in Minnesota. We handle feed ingredients and are one of the largest companies in the United States. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Checking for damaged goods
  • Staying aware of possible hazards
  • Maintaining forklift and other equipment
  • Recording data about the products they are moving
  • Comply with SAM Nutritions internal food safety policies, as well as Responsible Importer Guidelines.
  • Comply with Food Safety Plan set forth by state, federal, and 3rd party (HACCP, FAMI-QS, SF/SF etc.) guidelines.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of the warehouse
  • Performs special projects (Reworking/repalletizing 50 LB bags)
  • Obtain product knowledge on the material in the warehouse
  • Responsible for performing weekly inventory counts
  • Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places.
  • Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
  • Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
  • Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
  • Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
  • Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Comes with a great attitude and a willing team player

Forklift Operator Skills and Qualifications:
