Skin & Wound Care Provider - NP / PA-C
Eugene, OR • Full-Time, M-F • No Nights, No Weekends, No Call

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salary: $135,000.00 - $175,000.00 (DOE) plus bonus potential | Exempt, Full-Time | Anticipated Territory: 4 days in Eugene & 1 day in Roseburg
* Compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, skillset, geographic location, market considerations, and alignment with internal pay equity practices.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Credentials: Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP, FNP, ARNP, APRN) or Physician Assistant/Associate (PA-C), licensed in the state of employment
  • Experience: 1-2 years of wound care and/or surgical experience preferred but not required - extensive paid training is provided
  • Mobility: Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance - this role covers a regional territory
  • Physical: Ability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced clinical setting
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills - you'll work with patients, families, nursing staff, and medical leadership daily
  • Initiative: Self-starter who can schedule and manage appointments independently with punctuality and professionalism
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Lead multidisciplinary wound care teams across assigned care locations, conducting weekly wound rounds and house calls within your region
  • Deliver high-quality skin and wound care every visit, including assessment, dressing application, pressure relief, pain/odor management, and minor surgical procedures
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies to guide care decisions and build individualized treatment plans aligned with UWH's Clinical Practice Guidelines
  • Maintain timely documentation in UWH's wound care EMR to track healing progress
  • Collaborate virtually with UWH's board-certified medical physicians and surgeons across wound care, dermatology, podiatry, vascular surgery, and infectious disease
