Role: Color Designer – Basketball Footwear
Location: Beaverton, OR
Duration: 6-Month Contract
We're hiring a Lead Color Designer to create seasonal color design and direction for basketball footwear with a global sportswear leader at their Oregon headquarters.
What you'll do
Create seasonal color design and direction for basketball footwear — signature, branded and licensed
Drive compelling new color theories across Men's and Women's product
Build trend-driven narratives with Product Management that connect to target consumers
Partner with Development to communicate design intent, support schematic creation, and workshop prototypes
Design and present concept materials to teams, leadership, and external partners
What you'll bring
3+ years of color design experience in footwear, apparel or soft goods
Expert Adobe Illustrator; professional-level Photoshop, Miro, CLO 3D, Vizcom
Strong textiles and materials foundation
Proven ability to translate consumer insight into a color story
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
BA/BFA/MA/MFA in graphic, fashion, industrial, apparel, material or textile design preferred — equivalent experience considered
