Overview
As a Senior SOF Desk Officer, you will provide SA case management, HUMINT technical oversight, and operational support to 1st Special Forces Command and ARSOF Sensitive Activities Mission Management Cells (SAMMC). In this role, you will work with the Intelligence Community, Service, and Joint SOF policies to manage sensitive activities, oversee case documentation, produce operational and intelligence reporting, and ensure compliance with security and risk management standards. You will coordinate with the Intelligence Community and Joint Force partners, advise operational personnel on SA core competencies, integrate Multi-Domain Intelligence into mission planning and execution, and provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior analysts.
Security Requirement:
  • Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance is required.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Serves as Senior SOF Desk Officer.
  • Provide support for dataflow management requests and support teams.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on internal and external requirements policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Review HUMINT operational reporting and the processing of Intelligence Community standard formats and inputs.
  • Ensure compliance with local Major Command (MACOM) and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) specified policies and guidance.
  • Assist SA and HUMINT case management as focal point for operational reporting.
  • Maintain reporting metrics to support the SAMMC mission.
  • Utilize intelligence tools for qualitative review of platform/collector performance.
  • Support monthly reporting of HUMINT reporting metrics.
  • Monitor and track requirements documentation actions.
  • Implement efficient data management processes, ensuring data quality and integrity, and facilitating seamless retrieval and analysis of information.
  • Solicit, analyze, document, and facilitate prioritization and validation of analyst needs.
  • Provides consistent real-time updates of collection and planned collection requirements through existing databases.

Requirements
Position Requirements:
Required:
  • A bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience or 10+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience should be as a HUMINT Desk Officer related to IA, DoW/Joint, or SOF HUMINT experience.
  • Applicable experience in HUMINT reporting, processing, and collection requirements.
  • Demonstrated expertise in GCOMS/G2G cable reporting, quality checking, and evaluation.
  • Working knowledge of the tools, methods, and concepts of portals and other real-time or near-real-time knowledge and collection management systems.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Desired:
  • Experience supporting USASOC or Joint SOF organizations.
  • Must work independently with limited government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.
  • Experience conducting intelligence analysis and planning supporting Theater Special Operations Commands.
  • Experience in a deployed environment as Sensitive Activities supporting SOF.
