Duties Description Are you ready to start your Social Work career with New York State. Central New York Psychiatric Center (CNYPC), Green Haven Satellite Unit, is recruiting for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide professional social work services to individuals with mental illness. Candidates from outside or within State Service can apply.

As an LCSW at CNYPC, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team independently providing clinical social work services including: Diagnosing emotional and behavior disorders Providing psychotherapy Conducting biopsychosocial assessments Developing assessment-based treatment plans Minimum Qualifications Candidates from outside or within State Service can be considered for hire under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement - Statewide (NY HELPS) program if they are licensed and currently registered as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York State. OR Candidates within State Service can be considered transfer to a competitive class position if they have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law. Additional Comments: LCSWs are eligible for shift differential pay 7% for evening and weekend day shifts 10% for night shifts Additional Comments: Posted hiring rate includes the sum of the statutory hiring rate for PS&T Grade 23 ($86,681), Geographic Pay Differential ($18,000), and Mid-Hudson Adjustment ($2,000). The posted job rate is the sum of the statutory job rate ($109,650), Geographic Pay Differential ($18,000), and Mid-Hudson Adjustment ($2,000). Notes: 1.

If you fail to maintain your license and/or registration once you are appointed, action will be taken to remove you from the position. 2. This position is at Central New York Psychiatric Center's Green Haven Satellite Unit located on the grounds of Green Haven Correctional Facility in Dutchess County.
