Position Overview
Sky Society is seeking a candidate with strong visual taste and a clear ability to create aspirational, brand-forward content that resonates with Gen Z audiences. You are fluent in social media, understand how to build connection through content, and bring a high standard for visuals, storytelling, and execution.

As Social and Content Associate Manager, you'll produce compelling, elevated content that brings our brand story to life across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest. This role requires someone creative, trend-savvy, and strategic, with impeccable taste and a keen eye for visuals and storytelling. You'll be responsible for ideating, filming, and editing content that strengthens our brand voice while supporting and executing Sky Society's social media strategy.

This role is for someone who already knows how to create aspirational, high-quality social content and wants full ownership of a brand's visual presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Publishing:

  • Concept, create, and publish aspirational and educational content across all social platforms that reflects Sky Society's brand voice and elevated aesthetic
  • Film, shoot and edit posts, stories, and short-form videos that capture attention
  • Edit and repurpose long-form Marketing Girly podcast content into digestible content across multiple channels
  • Partner closely with the founder to plan, direct, edit, and distribute her on-camera content, including setting clear prompts, shot lists, and guidance on what to film
  • Collaborate with Sky Society's Marketing Manager to create high-performing social ad creative
  • Design aesthetic, on-brand social graphics in Canva

Content Innovation:

  • Develop trend-driven social content for campaigns, launches, and promotions that showcases Sky Society's personality and connects authentically with our community
  • Stay current on social media trends, tools, and platform updates, and proactively recommend ideas that strengthen Sky Society's content strategy

Community Engagement:

  • Thoughtfully engage with Sky Society's audience, respond to comments, and maintain a strong community presence.

Social Media Strategy:

  • Execute Sky Society's social media strategy across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest, ensuring content aligns with brand goals and audience insights
  • Track, analyze, and report on social performance and key KPIs, using insights to refine content strategy and optimize engagement and growth
  • Build and manage monthly content calendars

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in content creation and social media management, ideally in podcasting, media, education or creator-led brands
  • Strong visual judgment with an understanding of how to make content feel elevated, polished and save-worthy across TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest
  • Comfortable both behind and in front of the camera when needed
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills with a knack for capturing a distinct brand voice
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools and an understanding of how to leverage data to inform strategy
  • Knowledgable on paid social creative requirements
  • A proactive problem solver with high agency who can operate independently and drive initiatives forward
  • Incredibly creative and organized, with the ability to execute quickly without sacrificing quality
  • Experience with CapCut, HubSpot, Canva, Riverside or similar tools is a plus
