Job description

Marketing Manager, adidas Soccer
Sports Endeavors, home to Soccer.com, Soccer Master and WorldSoccerShop, is looking for a motivated, ownership-driven marketer to lead our adidas partnership marketing efforts.
This position offers a hybrid work environment, based in Hillsborough, NC with flexibility to work remotely within the area. We expect this role to be in-office 3+ days per week. Some travel is required for partner meetings and events, and the role occasionally requires a flexible schedule to support industry events on nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
  • Play a key role in annual partnership strategy development
  • Lead execution of the co-op marketing plan across the soccer business unit
  • Drive projects internally, taking ownership and managing cross-functionally to deliver strong programs and results
  • Manage and maintain an internal marketing launch calendar in partnership with adidas lead to make sure key launches are covered and planned for
  • Execute product launches flawlessly to maximize revenue and brand development opportunities
  • Build and maintain budgets with adidas marketing manager for seasonal priorities
  • Help facilitate content briefs for adidas sports marketing team for athlete photoshoots and content needs
  • Identify and implement improvements to streamline key workflows
  • Communicate plans and results clearly, including concepts, workplans, briefs, recaps and reporting
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with internal and external partners to strengthen partnership effectiveness
  • Represent Sports Endeavors professionally at partner events
  • Actively identify new opportunities to drive shared growth with adidas

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated soccer knowledge and experience
  • 3+ years of marketing experience
  • Strong understanding of marketing analytics and research
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, driven approach with a track record of ownership
  • Experience in sports and/or ecommerce a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
