Job Details
Pay Rate: $22.06/hr.Schedule: Full-Time
Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, contractors, and visitors within a data center / SOC environment.
  • Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and access control systems to identify and respond to security events in real time.
  • Control and verify access to the facility by ensuring all personnel and visitors follow proper badging and entry procedures.
  • Conduct virtual and physical patrols as required, ensuring all critical areas are secure and operating within expected parameters.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and security concerns, escalating issues to the appropriate internal teams or emergency services as needed.
  • Promote safety by observing, reporting, and assisting in correcting potential hazards or policy violations.
  • Understand and comply with Prosegur, client (Rackspace), and State of Texas security requirements, as well as site-specific post orders and SOC protocols.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity reports (DARs), and logs accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with client representatives, site leadership, and team members during shift operations.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service in a high-visibility, client-facing environment.
Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Texas Level II (Unarmed) Security License required.
  • Prior SOC, data center, or security operations experience preferred.
  • Experience with CCTV, access control systems, and incident reporting systems preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Must successfully pass background screening and drug testing.
