Job description

SOC is seeking a Part-Time, Technical Manager that will provide technical leadership for Oil & Gas data, document-management, records-processing, and data-quality activities. This role will help guide the team’s execution of technical workflows involving well data, directional surveys, raw logs, pipeline records, platform-structure records, digital documents, and related information-management tasks.


The Technical Manager will work within existing Government systems and processes, support technical issue resolution, coordinate with the Project Manager and QA staff, and help ensure that assigned work is completed accurately, consistently, and in accordance with Government data standards.


Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of strictly Oil & Gas experience
  • Active PMP certification
  • Experience with Oil & Gas technical data, including well records, directional surveys, raw logs, completion reports, pipeline data, or platform-structure documentation
  • Experience supporting data quality, records management, and technical documentation workflows
  • Familiarity with enterprise data systems, document repositories, SQL queries, or Oracle-based environments preferred
  • Ability to support Federal onboarding, background investigation, and PIV credentialing requirements
  • Must be available to work onsite in New Orleans, LA
