Job Summary
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team!  Are you tired of being just a number within a company? Not feeling valued or appreciated as a therapist? Lauralee’s Speech Therapy, LLC is a small, family oriented agency which prides itself on focusing not only on the clients we serve but also on the therapists as well. See a part time caseload with as few as 15 clients or see a full time caseload with 30 clients....or more. It's really up to you!  
In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with fine motor delays and/or sensory processing issues. You will work primarily with pediatric patients qualified for services through the Department of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), in their home environment. Your expertise in occupational therapy and patient care will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients.  Experience in feeding is a strong asset!  

Responsibilities 
  • Meet with patients from many different backgrounds and compassionately discuss their health concerns and therapy needs with patient and family or caregivers
  • Conduct evaluations to determine a starting point for each patient
  • Create a therapy plan specific to each patient that will help them meet their mobility goals
  • complete daily soap notes and quarterly progress reports
Qualifications
  • Must hold the required state license for occupational therapy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • The ability to stay positive and compassionate over a long period of time with patients
  • Eexperience with Feeding Therapy
